The Temper Trap are thrilled to announce that they will be performing at the ARIA awards in Sydney on Thursday November 26th. The ARIA Awards (Australia's equivalent to the Brits or Grammys) invited the band to fill their final performance spot on the night, an offer that couldn't be refused.
The Temper Trap will be up for four awards on the night - Best Rock Album, Breakthrough Artist Album, Single of the Year (Sweet Disposition) and Album of the Year.
Unfortunately the date has clashed with their shows in Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Germany.
The band are super bummed that they have to reschedule the Scandinavian and German dates and want to apologize for any inconvenience this has caused. 'We had no idea that we'd be asked to perform at the ARIA's and this has forced us to move these dates. We're really disappointed as we were very excited about these shows' said lead singer Dougy Mandagi.
Tickets for these shows are still valid for the rescheduled dates. If you're unable to make it to the new date scheduled, please return to the point of purchase for a refund.

The Temper Trap are proud to announce some very special headline shows in Melbourne and Sydney to kick off what's set to be a huge 2010.
Friday 8th January will see the band playing at The Enmore Theatre in Sydney, with special guests Bridezilla.
On Tuesday 12th January, Melburnians can welcome The Temper Trap home at The Forum, with special guests The Boxer Rebellion (UK).
The forthcoming summer will also see the band hitting stages across the nation at the Falls, Southbound, Sunset Sounds & Big Day Out festivals.

Coming off the back of a sold out UK tour, The Temper Trap have stormed up the UK Charts this week, with their debut single 'Sweet Disposition' currently placed at #7 and album 'Conditions' at #25.
The band are currently on the move with shows in North America and Europe scheduled in for the end of the year, before they return to the homeland - Australia.
